How to request deletion of your Tamna account and what happens to your data.

Last updated: September 2026

How to delete your account

  1. Sign in on this website with the account you want deleted, then come back to this page.
  2. Read what is deleted and what is kept, tick the confirmation below, and choose Request deletion.
  3. If your sign-in is older than a few minutes we ask you to sign in again first, so nobody else can do this from an unlocked device.
  4. Your account is deactivated at once and permanently deleted after the grace period. If you cannot sign in, email privacy@tamna.app from the email address on the account.

Data that is deleted or deactivated

  • Your account is deactivated straight away. You can no longer sign in.
  • It is permanently deleted 30 days later. Until then the account is closed, and it cannot be reopened by you or by support.
  • Your active push notification tokens are deactivated.
  • Your profile identifying fields are anonymized, including your name, avatar, phone number, and notification preferences.

Data that may be retained

Some records may be retained where necessary for legal obligations, patient safety, accounting, fraud prevention, dispute handling, security, audit logging, and database referential integrity. This can include appointment history, prescriptions, medical-record-related entries, messages, support tickets, transaction records, and audit logs.

Clinical records are kept for 10 years and financial records for 5 years as required by law. They are not kept as an account you can sign in to.
